Red Dog Books is always interested in good quality, interesting and original work that falls within our specialist interest areas. Please study our current titles to see if your work is likely to be a suitable addition to our list.
We are happy to look at submissions for fiction or non-fiction.
Please follow the instructions below:

1.  Send submissions to the Brittany office (see Contact Us).

2.  Please include a SAE of suitable size and English or French stamps as appropriate to the same value for return. DO NOT ATTACH THESE STAMPS TO YOUR SAE  but send loose in the envelope.

3.  Manuscripts may be single or double spaced. Please number the pages clearly.

4.  FICTION: include one A4 sheet synopsis and first two chapters of your manuscript as well as a covering letter with relevant information about yourself and any previous writing experience/success.

5.  NON-FICTION: include synopsis with chapter summaries, one complete chapter, information about your qualifications for writing on this topic and any marketing suggestions you have.

6. We are happy to discuss basic ideas on the telephone before any formal submission. (See Contact Us)

7.  We aim to respond to all submissions within 28 days of receipt.

If we agree to publish your book, you will be offered our standard contract. For your information, please note that the copyright always remains with the author, editing decisions and the costs of publication are the responsibilty of Red Dog Books as publishers, and royalties are paid to authors in accordance with normal industry practice.
