It is an excellent introduction to the northern coast of Brittany whether you want to walk or just have a family day out: there are maps covering the whole route and full directions for walking, and almost every page has superb colour photos. Working ports, ancient remains, traditional tourist resorts, souvenirs of WWII, oddities like the Ringing Stones and rock carvings of Rothéneuf - all the information is here and there are also special sections on bird life, the shellfish industry and geology.
